Amana range replacement

Our 2011 Georgetown 378 needs a new range/oven. The original Amana has been discontinued. We can’t seem to find the right fit. We’ve been to 3 dealerships now who have ordered ones that won’t fit without counter modifications. We’re not prepared to do that just yet. Anyone else out there replaced theirs? Thx.

It may be more cost effective to repair if possible.
What's actually wrong with it that you need to replace to complete counter top and oven?

The oven won’t light. Likely needs a new thermocouple. It’s always been a pain to light anyway. So we want a Piezo igniter. One of the top burners no longer works & the door hinges don’t keep the door tight anymore, as well as the rubber seal is worn out. We want to actually use the oven as we full time.
It’s the edge of the counter around the hole where the stove is mounted that needs modified according to the rv service ppl.

If the oven won't close its bent so yes you probably need a new one.
You will still get the similar stuff in the new models as well.
Good luck

You should be able to take some pretty detailed measurements and find a model that will be a direct replacement.

You may have to call a few mfg's to get their measurements, but it should be possible.

Well we have been in contact with FR & they tell us that they can’t help us. Our Amana range was discontinued & they say that when they started installing a different range that they modified the counter & cabinet around it. They don’t know what would work for us as a replacement. We have searched online & at several dealership parts depts. nothing will fit. Ultimately the parts ppl just say “sorry”. It seems ridiculous but... there it is. I’d hoped that someone on here might have had this issue but I guess it’s just us.

Would you mind supplying some dimensions:
Opening for front of oven
Opening for range top
Depth of opening (oven) if possible

What is your counter top made of?

Have you tried the RV wrecking yards? They might have your exact model from a totalled RV.
