very odd. how old are the tires? Looks like something scrapping or digging into them. Any damage or wear under camper?

No I don’t see anything. The tires have 1600 miles on them. RV is a 2018. Just bought a month ago. Ugh

TT, 5'er or MH? Front tire or rear tire if MH? If a TT or 5'er with 4 tires, front or rear tire?

Looks like an alignment problem. My Prism just did something somewhat similar in about 1400 miles. I have not yet tracked down the cause.

The lighting on the tire is uneven, so it makes it that much more difficult to ascertain the damage to the tire. Is the damage the same all the way around?

Have you had the Georgetown since new?
What mileage did you take ownership?
What mileage is the Georgetown showing now?
Absolutely no indication of any rubbing up inside the wheel well?

Yes bought new
It had about 900 when purchased.
Now has 1400.
Certain no rubbing. I just put on tire covers and would have noticed.

I have no MH, but I have seen a tire.

If that is the only tire that way....I say something rubbed it. I suggest to look closely at the other tires...see nothing? Then it almost has to be that.

A tire expert will be along soon.

I might add. Look inside the wheel opening for rub marks(prolly dead center). You may find your answer.

Been doing donuts in the mall parking lot? Seriously though, it looks like the tire was spinning on the pavement or gravel. The mh could have been high centered or entered/exited a steep driveway at an angle allowing the tire to spin during transit to the dealer and it wasn't noticed during pdi. Maybe take a look underneath for any scrapes on the chassis or any other damage.

Can't imagine it being an old tire but what does the date code say?

Ok, then you may not like this answer.

Have checked the date of manufacture of every one of your six tires. Do you know how to find the tire date....it’s four digits and identifies the week and year it was made.
It’s possible they swapped a tire from another motorhome that someone noticed the marking.

All your tires should show almost/if not exactly the same date codes.

If it is a front tire check for rubbing while making a sharp turn.
