If your talking the tank heaters I would think anytime the temperatures get down to +/- 35 degrees. I believe they are self-regulating so if the temp gets up to 40+ they will stop heating.

Don't turn them on if the tanks are empty. They will melt.
How can they call it an "Arctic Pac" when they don't even include double pane windows. In my opinion it isn't much more than maybe tank heaters and a decal..

Below 32 degrees, what was included in your Arctic pac? more then likely you might have just got tank heaters and a 2" heating vent from the furnace. Your tank heaters will come on if you supply power to them when the inside liquid gets to 40 degrees and will automatically shut off when the liquid reaches 65 degrees. The furnace vent will put off heat every time the furnace is used. Most of the time your tank heaters will not come on at all if your using your furnace. If you have liquid in them, just leave the heaters on. Hope that helps you...

Scrapper is correct, gottoys is wrong. At temps over 40 they turn off, they are not hot enough to melt anything. I was told this personally by a FR rep at a frog rally. He said they can be left on all the time, empty or full, will do no harm. Of course if there is no water in the tank is is not necessary to have them on anyway.

Jim G , they come on at 40 degrees liquid temp, they will stay on until 65 degrees, this was discussed years ago and I still remember it and went to the ultra heat web site
I had a good laugh, on people's comments on who wants to heat there poop to 65 degrees. 🤣

Draw significant electric power - concern if you are operating on batteries.
