Awning Topper

The topper on one of our slide outs does not appear to be tight enough. When it rains, it sags and keeps a pocket of water. Is there a way to tighten the tension on it without taking it apart.

Yes but that likely will not work if this is a long slide. Why? Because while you can add tension to the springs located in each end cap, the entire "roll" will still flex and sag in the middle.

This video shows the problem and that the only real solution is to replace the fabric, which the video also shows how to do.

Thanks. I looked at it and it does bow in the middle.
