Not versed in One Control but in the past awning power has always been inline fused directly off a coach battery in a GT.

Yup our 2010 Georgetown was way before One Control, but yes…..it was wired and fused directly off the batteries under the entrance steps..

If it's a Solera power awning, look at the top of one of the arms. There is a rubber plug. Get a really tall stepladder and remove the plug. Get a 7/16" socket and an electric drill and you can spin the motor counterclockwise manually to retract the awning.

When mine failed found out the connection from motor was disconnected reconnected and it worked. How ever its a pretty tight fit to get to the motor wire and connector. Later RJD

I don't know how far in the "bolt" is so a short socket extension might also be needed.
Good luck,
Ray

Got the drill and 7/16 magnetic socket. Pulled the plu and have the awning halfway retracted. I only have a 5 ft ladder, I am borrowing a 7 footer from the camp host.
Thanks for all help. Will have R V repair see what the problem is when I get home.

Thanks for the update. It's good to know the procedure works.
I carry the 7' version of this one from Telesteps: https://www.amazon.com/Telesteps-600...s%2C220&sr=8-5
GPLogistics also makes a 7' version.
It comes in handy for window and windshield cleaning.

Awning retract
R V repair called today. The awning motor had a short causing fuses to blow.
After reading some reviews, it appears that a lot of Solera motors only last about 2-3 years. Mine was 3 years old.
Seems to me as little as they are used, they should last longer.

So, can you post where the awning fuses on a GT with one control are located?

Thanks for the follow-up. How easy was the manual retraction process once you got a taller ladder? How long did the drill take?

Awning Motor
If your a handy person, the awning motors are usually power window motors. They can be bought individually for a lot cheaper. The only thing different is the wire connections. Which are pretty easy to switch out. The only downside is that these don't have a way to retract manually. Here's one for reference that is in most Solera awnings: https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-742-14...ustomerReviews

Awning
Like Bubbles said-- Fuses are direct in line from batteries.
Manual retraction is easy if you have a 7ft. ladder. It probably took about 10min. for me. The drill I bought was only 600RPM. A drill with more RPM would really make it easier and faster.

Thanks. I wanted a folding RV ladder and at a park last year they were having a "garage sale" day. An older fellow with a motorhome was selling his ladders, which he said he had never used. I bought his 7' Telesteps ladder and love it. GPLogistics also makes a seven-footer.
Yes, it does extend partially into a basement compartment on each side but it takes up very little space and is easy to store and use. It's not the steadiest thing but if you get it set up on hard ground it's more than steady enough. Both weigh about 25 lbs.
The Telesteps one with a 250 lb weight limit: https://telestepsladders.com/product...ep-ladder-stik
The GPLogistics one with a 225 lb weight limit: https://www.campingworld.com/gp-logi...der-20319.html
