Actually, not long enough. DW has this advanced mental telepathy It normally triggers when she hears the silverware drawer open and we are not cooking or setting the table. You can't imagine how many uses there are for a nut pick!
Me too! The backsplash on our 270 ssf fell off while we were crossing the bridge in Cincinnati. It made quite a clatter and was very alarming. Like yours it was just held on with a little bit of Liquid Nails. We used a whole tube to glue it back up but if I had to do it again I would go to Home Depot and get some of that thin plastic or metal backsplash that comes in sheets - much lighter and better-looking than the tile.
