Backup camera

Had Lazydays in Tampa replace backup cam under extended warranty. After a year I finally drove at night and noticed no infrared lights at night. Found that with lights off, the infrared lights illuminate fine, when I turn the RV lights on the the infrared lights go off. Any suggestions other than bringing back 3 hours away to lazydays? Figure wired incorrectly...

Sounds like the new camera may have a light sensor that turns off the IR led lights when it “sees” your trailer lights. If you search for the specs of the new camera that may tell you.
