Bedroom pocket door question

We have two pocket doors in our 31R5. We haven't really used the bedroom pocket door using the door forward of the bathroom instead. Recently I discovered a plastic bracket at the foot of the door that, I believe, the door is supposed to ride in to keep it from swinging in and out. It could have never worked. The bracket is too high, and the trim is cracked where it is installed. I did slide the door in and out at PDI but the door slides just fine when it is behind the bracket. I assume it is supposed to be in the bracket. Can anyone confirm?

We are taking our coach back next week for a list of warranty items. Thanks!

Yes. If it's like my Rockwood 2608 it should be in the bracket to keep it from swinging while in transit.

Our pocket door kept coming off while traveling. Wound up putting a zip tie on the latch at the top to keep it secure. Without the zip tie the latch kept releasing the top pin from the road rattle....

Mr. October, we had our bedroom door fall off, so we fixed the bottom guide by making a shim to raise the guide. Screwed the shim into the floor and guide into shim eliminating the molding issue. Also had to reinforce our top track as it pulled loose from the ceiling. Good luck.

pocket doors

We had ours come out but went back in and we repositioned bracket a half inch with 1 or 2 screws works fine now. hope you don't have any more issues with that.

Check out the PDF I attached. It's a warranty issue I submitted to the dealer so they can have the door in hand when we arrive in a few weeks. We've now officially had the unit for three months and four trips.

Somewhat disturbingly, the dealer asked me to measure the door because FR apparently doesn't know...

I came up with:

Height: 74 1/8""
Width: 28 1/8"
Thick: 1 3/8"

Thanks for this post. I just looked and neither of my pocket doors have that bracket. The one between the bedroom and the living area just bangs around, as shown by the PDF.

The pocket door between the bedroom and the rear bathroom also doesn't have a bracket but it does have some kind of fastener of springy thingy jamming the door against the front of the frame...

More things to add to the list, I guess.
