Blind Spot on Passenger Side

I have velvac mirrors on my class A,and the bottom mirror will not adjust low enough to see vehicles along the side of me causing a potential hazard. I have tried stick on round wide view mirrors, but cars are still not in my view. Does anyone have this problem or suggestions to fix this problem.

is there something that you can file
so as to give it more angle ??

such as a slot made longer
a hole filed a little on one side
a washer filed thinner on one side
thus to push one way a little more ??

a shim ??

We have side cameras that come on when you turn on th turn signal, and a couple of times I have been surprised to find someone their. Worse is after all that watch someone dart up along side you as. You are changing lanes. Sigh

Do you think anyone has ever used something like this as a side vision camera?

“Peak PKC0RB Wireless Back-Up Camera System with 3.5-Inch LCD Color Monitor

I had the same issues with the 2012 350TS. Tried all the various small concave mirrors and nothing worked.

I then added an angle lens on the inside passenger window just in front of the mirror and now I can see everything in this blind spot. I bought mine in Canada but saw them at camping world. They are 8X10 and just go on using a bit of water. Best investment I ever made.

It will restrict the side passenger window from completely opening which was not an issue for me. The side window will open fully as long as you play with it a little at the point when it touches this thin lense.

Velvac Recreational Vehicle Mirrors

Here's the link to their site. Try the technical support section. There should be some helpful info there.

This is what I was suggesting

http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...le-lenses/4600

The blind spot is in tight, below and also in front of the mirror.

Barney Alexander teaches the RV Driving Confidence Course at Lazy Days in Tampa. During his course, he suggested using one of the cling on lenses on the passenger side window as described by FantAsia. I purchased mine at Amazon. It solves the blind spot problem.
