Brake controller recommendation.

Hi all,

I will towing a 2500lb vehicle, on a tow dolly, behind a 2016 335DS this summer. The tow dolly has electric brakes.

I know there are different types of controllers, and wonder what type works best in the mountains, using the engine to help brake the coach on the downhills.

If anyone has a brake controller that they really like, I'd appreciate a recommendation.

Thank you,

John

I have a Tekonsha Prodigy p3 Brake controller. I have one installed on my truck and motorhome. It works great and very easy to install.

I have an original prodigy for sale on CL. (Delaware and Phila.) Just search Prodigy on either site. This link will show you the differences between the original and the p2. https://www.etrailer.com/question-10624.html
If interested contact me through Cl. I am open to offers.
