Brake fluid

Quick question on 2014 Georgetown 377 brake fluid. I found a forum that lists a Dot 4 fluid. Anyone have a different opinion. Thanks!

What does the owners manual say? If you have the F-53 chassis it should be Super DOT 4 per Ford.

Most everything uses DOT4, pretty much standard. Some older stuff may say DOT3.
Change it out at least every two years and better to flush with new fluid once a year.
Moisture builds up in the fluid (it is made to absorb fluid) and then corrosion starts to do it's work.

Thanks.... If I had gotten a manual I'd consult it. It seems they forgot mine and I've never been able to get a copy. I'll use the Dot 4 thanks.

Double check with the auto parts store just to be sure.
