Bridgestone tires -Opinion?

I'm replacing the front tires on my GT 360.
It's 6 years old, and has about 45k miles.
235 80R 22.5

Most people, (I think), replace them due to sidewall "cracks", and age, not wear.

I use 303 tire balm & protectant on them.
(Recommended by a friend as they use this on airplane tires to protect from UV damage)

But I digress....

Currently I have Michelin on there and was calling around tire truck centers for quotes.
The best prices I've found (out the door) have been -

Michelin's XV - $1660

Goodyear G670 $1300

Bridgestone - R268S $882. (These were on sale)

Anyone ever run Bridgestone??

The data looks good, edt. Mileage, treadwear, scrubbing, all weather drivability etc., but no mention of UV protection.

Just wondering if any one has had experience with these, either positive or negative.

Thanks!!

I have always heard that Bridgestone was a good tire. Take a look at MasterCraft tires by Cooper they wear like iron and cost a fraction of the popular named tires.

We run Bridgestone, like them much better than the original Michelin's, much better handling, no complaints at all. Are you talking 882 a tire for the Bridgestone? I got our 268's mounted balanced, tax and associated fees for 433 each.

Thanks for the info. No, I'm talking 888 out the door. Tires, mounting, balancing, stems, disposal fee, tax.
I think it's a good deal 👍

I have Bridgestones on my F-350 dually and are well satisfied them. The tire shop recommended them over Michelin’s, and he had both in stock, when I told him of my plans to travel to Alaska. That was early in 2016 and they now have about 44,000 trouble free miles on them. YMMV

I have Bridgestone 19.5's all round after the original Goodyears started to have sidewall issues at 16k miles. I'm very happy with the Brids and will get them again when they timeout. I believe the model is R250F
