Broken links in slide-out harness chain...

Attached is a pic of the slide-out wiring harness guide chain on the floor of my unit showing a couple of breaks in the links. The second picture shows a couple fragments of a broken link where I obtained the information to identify the product. This chain-link-guide system protects the slide-out wiring harnesses from damage when the slide is moved. I don't know when or how the breakage occurred. I am very careful to make sure there is nothing on the floor near this area that could contact the guide.

This system is an "igus e-chain system" model Z16.3.040. The links look like they could be snapped in and out over the harnesses, though I can't confirm this in the freezing weather and my dealer is closed until after the 1st of the year. It is my sincere hope the broken links or a length of same can be replaced without the drama of removing the entire system. Does anyone have experience repairing this type of breakage?

Thanks in advance for your consideration. - Mark

Broken links in slide-out harness chain...

We use the energy chain in our machines at work. The ones we use can be taken apart and installed one link at a time. We can also remove the wires without pulling the whole chain out of its end brackets. Look on eBay and type in either "energy chain" or "ingus e-chain". If yours is out of warranty contact Ingus for help or use a new complete chain.
Hope this helps.
