I don't know but the next time it does it reach behind the console and gently wiggle some wires. If it fixed it then you have a loose connection. Though I would start looking for a new unit. Bummer

Bad connection or bad camera. Best way to tell is to swap the cameras temporarily and see if the problem follows the camera. If it's doing it on all 3 cameras then I have no idea.

Well it’s doing it on all three cameras....We just keep it on the toad, maybe we should turn it off. I’d like to know it’s back there. It’s still under warranty.

It's good it's still under warranty but the down side to that is how long it takes the dealer to fix it. You may have better luck contacting a mobile RV repair person. They can usually fix those thing within a few days.

I totally agree, it’s crazy. We still have a refrigerator issue and shooting ice out the door. We never use the ice anyway so we shut it off.

I remember that when myTV went out, under warranty, I called Forrest River and emailed them a picture of the T.V. screen and they authorized me to buy a TV of my choice locally and install it myself and they paid for TV.

Kent....
I suspect your monitor is dying/dead. Highly unlikely that all three cameras are transmitting the same color bars to the screen.

I’d hit it with a hammer. Always works for me. Either it starts working or you buy another one anyway.

Sound like there are many people having the problem with the "in-dash" system. It does happen to me too, it is in and out, cannot depend on it.
That said, what I did was to pull the video feed to the unit, bought an external monitor and plug into the external monitor. Everything works perfectly so far.

I have a similar problem and that is that the unit jumps around from camera to radio and will not stay on rear camera for very long. It does not do it all the time. I thought maybe frequency issues possibly.

Hello Kent,
If you read this thread, I did go to the detail of hooking up the external monitor via some of my posts in this thread. Note that I posted more than one in this thread as well as provided answers to some.

Have fun.
