Captain's chair replacement covers

I just got my new captain's chair replacement covers from FR. Before I begin the process I am hoping someone can post a few tips/tricks that may make to job easier.

Do you need to remove the seats or can the new be installed with the seats still in place?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Remove the seats. Take pictures along the way. You'll need a hog nose ring kit and tool. One of the hardest things was figuring out how to remove the arm rests.

You have probably completed your project but if not, here is a really good link. I also purchased new seat covers from FR to replace the pleather, hog rings and pliers. It was much easier than I thought. I took many pictures just in case but once you do the first one, the next one is clear sailing!
