What is the best way to clean the carpet in a GT?

We don't have a whole lot of carpet in ours. It's just under the dinette and in the cockpit. The boys and dog have dirtied it with mud, etc. and it's easy to clean. We carry a can of Tuff Stuff carpet cleaner. The other option would be to use one of those pet spot cleaning machines.

I did it last year in mine and used the house carpet cleaner.
Main thing is don't over moisturize it.
Make sure you suck up all the water and keep sucking until lightly damp.
You would not believe how much dirt I came up with.
Probably had to clean the dirty bucket side 3 times.

Take your time and wash and clean small sections first. The main walk areas.

Good luck.

I also skimp a bit on the cleaning solution. Seems to stay cleaner longer.

I use the Hoover steam cleaner, and their solution.

In our 5er, we got tired of cleaning the carpet and just took it out in the living room except on the slide. Like it much better.

We ride in the MoHo, and the carpet helps keep road (and chassis!) noise down, IMO.

A friend took the carpet out of his "C", and the noise increased quite noticeably.

Understand that completely.
