Ceiling Lights

Have a 2018 31L5. Bought used. The ceiling lights seem to be going bad. They are beginning to flash. Video attached.

I replaced four of them from an online source I found, but now 2 more have started to flash. Anyone else have this experience? Are they that poor of quality that they go bad in a little over a year?

Thanks for any help!

FR had issues with some of the LED modules in the past wan were replacing them. Not sure if this will help you as you are not the original owner, but I would contact the dealer and ask that they replace all the modules.

Another try at video. If it doesn’t load, imagine the above picture light flashing!

Lights

Hello, I had a couple of them do the same thing. Replaced them with the same size/shape Facon LED's found on Amazon. Are the ones you replace the same brand? I've had the replacements for about five months. Wondering if they're going to last or not.

You have to put videos on you tube and then post the link.

Hello - having same problems with my '17 GT5 31L5. Had 2 replaced 6 months ago and now have 4 more doing the same thing - flashing wildly. Very disappointed - when you look at ads for these type lights they all claim that the life is 60,000 hours. Alas I wish this were the only issue I've had with this unit.
For those who've replaced the lights with other products, I'd appreciate details on exactly what you used, where you purchased and the installation process.
Or for those who've been lucky enough to have FR or a dealer replace them out of warranty let me know who I can talk with.

I bought these from eBay.

Easy to replace. 4 screws and 2 wires

Less expensive than the time and gas to return to the dealer for replacement.

Ceiling lights

I got mine on amazon. Lumitronics double rv ceiling light. 2 wires 4 screws. Easy install. 2 incandescent bulbs in each light. Can be replaced with led bulbs if you want the brighter light. I’m happy with the incandescent. $9.99 apiece.

Ha, the dreaded foam! I would find that stuff in everything mounted to the roof. There's four tabs about a inch from each corner that holds the whole cover. I used a butter knife between the base and cover. It comes off pretty easy after you get two of the tabs loose.

Thanks, that's got to be a lot better than a fellow, not me, demonstrated to me by prying the entire fixture out of the ceiling. OOPS
