child restraint seats and outlets

Hello!

We just bought a 2001 Georgetown and we love it. We have two toddler age grandchildren and our dream was to take them camping. Now we can't find a way to use their car seats. Has anyone figured out how to do this?

Another question- none of our outlets work unless we are hooked up to a 30 or 50 amp at a park or we have on the generator. When we plug into a 110, only the lights work. Is this an inverter problem or just the way it is?

Thanks!
Barb

We have a 2008 with the bench seat. Bench has seat belts that a child seat could be hooked to.

Not sure how your unit works but we’ve buckled the car seat into the dinette bench, the couch, and the seat behind the passenger captains chair

As for electric, yours works like mine. Only the fridge works off the inverter in my unit. When plugged into 110 you only have about 15 amps so you can’t run things like the ac or microwave, but my outlets work fine.

The 110 outlets have to have the gen on or plugged into 110 VAC 30 or 50 amp at park.. The TV and microwave and a/c outlets are 110 vac but everything else is 12 vdc and work off the house batteries..
