Coach Batteries? (How to water them?)

We have a 2012 Georgetown 378. We will be leaving to go south it TX in early January. To-day I tried to check the coach batteries. Do these MH's have sealed batteries? It apears that I would have to take all the cables off and take them out to check if they need water.

My 2011 does not have sealed batts...the caps come off by using a small screw driver to pry the lids off...you should be able to do that without taking any cables off although it may be a tight place to work.

Had to remove the cables to check mine originally. When I replaced them I went with sealed type.

Thank's
polkatronron: I was afraid that was what I would need to do.
cfsoistman: I'm sure I will have to take some cables off to get the lids off of mine. I hope I will not need to take the batteries out to check them.

Don't bother with the sealed cell just for the convieance the lead acid batteries best bang for buck. That being said whoever wired our coach never thought of adding water! After moving all the cables someone told me they make battery watering systems and are ideal! Just google it or ask at a camping world or upgrades.com
