Confirmation right replacement Dometic awning fabric
Wondering if someone out there can confirm something . I have a 2012 378 with a 20 ft Dometic Power Patio Awning. I emailed Dometic to find part # for replacement fabric as well as local dealers I could buy it from. Dometic customer support initially advised part # B3314989NR.420 . They then sent a follow up changing it to B3313161NR.420 ( has extra poly cord as required) . I contacted a local dealer who, after not finding it in his Dometic info and contacting his contact at Dometic , advised me it wasn't a working part# . He thought it might be the one Dometic first specified.
I've tried getting some confirmation from Dometic but I'm not getting replies to my emails and getting a little frustrated with these guys . My understanding is awning fabric is non returnable so I need to be sure .
Has anyone with a 2012 378 replaced theirs and can tell me the Dometic fabric part number

20' Dometic Awning Part #
I spoke with Georgetown's Purchasing Department, and was provided part #918NR20.001U for the 20' Dometic awning they used to run. They did let me know that it's been several years since they've ordered this, so Dometic may have changed the part number. Please let me know if this helps!
Best Regards,

Eric - Thanks for calling FR . The number they gave you looks a lot like the sticker that's on my awning roller tube ( (918EH20.001U) . Thanks for replying all the same

Confirmation right replacement Dometic awning fabric
You do not need to replace the awning fabric from dometic. You have choices. I have a 9100 series Dometic awning and needed a replacement fabric, so after much investigation, I choose an awning fabric from Shadepro. The Acrylic material does not mildew and is lighter. Seems to dry quicker than vinyl. I did not have a metal cover, Shadepro offered the awning with a metal cover. We have enjoyed our choice.

Hi All
Just some information to get the right product.
If you extend the existing awning out and look on the left side of the aluminum roller you will find the correct numbers for your awning and possible the awning p/n for the actual fabric.
So look to the front of the rig on the tube.
The 1st number you gave them seem to be correct.
The number they sent seem not to be available.
If it is 20 ft wide why not install?
This is only an example label and not mine.

I'm may have to order the first part # that Dometic quoted me but if it doesn't have a necessary poly rope as they suggested I might not be able to install and be out $ . I've sent follow up emails to them but got no replies to them . Looks like I'm going to have to call
