couch

We bought a new Georgetown GT 5 36b. All motor homes are nice and although my wife never is happy with them I like this one. we have had several over the years .
As with all motor homes issues show up. My Uncle used to say hook a hitch to ya house and drag it down the road and see what happens.
I find your better off finding a quality dealer than worrying about who made it.
Probably about 12 things needed attention and the only time it became a pain in the ass was when forest river dragged their feet as they are doing right now with the couch that has never worked correctly. the lever to open leg rest sucks and for the most part sticks both opening and closing. It looks nice but operation sucks. Last contact FR said the MFG is reviewing replace ment.
Ours is a 17 purchased new in 18 but the new 19s changes to a higher quality love seat type I WONDER WHY. any way we use our motor home as we are retired and go to Florida for 5 months after thanksgiving and FR is pissing me off. Only so much Dealer can do.
Was considering in 2021 getting a FR Berkshire but wife might squash that.

They may not be blowing smoke about this. I had to get my sofa replaced in my Spartan toy hauler back in March. I ended up getting copied on emails and communicating directly with the sofa manufacturer and the process was not quick at all. FR wasn't dragging their feet, the couch manufacturer was just really slow.

My first email went out on it in early March and I didn't get the sofa to me until the end of April.

Although nothing was wrong with my sleeper sofa, it was uncomfortable to sit in, both in the reclining and upright positions. I removed it and put in theater seating. Best move I made.
