Question counter extension for Georgetown 378 XL

I have a 2008 Georgetown 378 XL that I love! I do have a problem with lack of counter space when doing dishes. On the brochure for the 2008 Georgetown, it has a corian fold down counter extention pictured on the left hand side of the sink. I want one of there. I have tried to contact Forest River on numerous occasions - they have not responded. I spoke with a dealer - they advised me to contact Forest River. Vicious circle. Does anyone know where I might be able to get one of these? I want it to be corian to match the counter - just like the picture in the brochure!

You can probably have it made by any good solid surface fabricator. The hardware is not likely a special item. If you have a picture just show it to them.

Thanks - that is what I am thinking. Seem a shame - as they have it in 5th wheels. Forest River will not respond to my questions.

We have one on our 2007 Georgetown 370. They forgot to install it when built. It took 3 shipments before they got the correct color. Personally, the thing is more of a pain then a benefit. We have a towel stuffed in between the cabinet and the extension to stop the creeking noise when closed and we're traveling. It does come up to the counter-top but sits about 2" down. In our case it's another thing to avoid when going in & out of the coach.
If you're still interested contact Greg Wagner at FR. He should be able to assist you.

I should have said it doesn't come up to the top of the counter.

It does come up even with our countertop on our 2011 378TS. It is very nice and my dw uses it every time she does the dishes.

I guess in our case the dealership mounted it too low. FR didn't install it during the build phase. We didn't notice it not being there until the day after we picked it up. Then it took from January 2007 until April 2007 for them to ship the right one to the dealership. Third shipment was finally the charm! The others were the wrong color. Considering there were only 2 colors at that time makes me wonder how they got it wrong a second time.
