I have the Cummings 5.5 hgjab 1038k. We got back from our first longer haul trip and I was cleaning it and noticed the front cover for my generator is gone. Anyone have any ideas on a part number to replace this?
Have you checked in the generator owners manual for a part number?. I will check mine and see if there is a number on it. You could also call Onan and they should be able to get it fior you. Might also check eBay.
might be worth a call to a rv service center, cummins service center, or line seller. they might have a used one off a unit they took out. they might make more selling a used one (no cost to them) as opposed to them having to buy a new one and resell it to you. but no guarantee.
