Dash floatiing

Does anyone have the problem with the dash floating? I have a 2010 georgetown. And when driving down the road, the wind is coming in through the grill and lifting my dash up. I tried putting some foam in the cracks where the defroster is under the dash, but still haveing the problem. Any suggestions???

Did you look at the side wall bolt post? Are you sure it's not that? It's the first post in this forum. I have a 2011 and no wind.

I asked Forest River about this and they would fix if I wanted. The fix is simply attaching the dash which is plywood to the two metal cross members inside the engine compartment. I have not done this but if you look up inside the engine compartment you will see what I'm talking about. I guess you can use some short screws to attach the plywood dash tot he cross members.
Hope this helps you.

I have checked the post and they are ok. It doesn't move it just lifts up some when traveling and the wind is getting in the front grill. I will look at attaching the dash in the engine compartment. Thanks for the help!!!

If you find what is causing your issue please post it here.
I have a 2013 378 XL and it does the same thing. I have tried to check to see if any air is coming up around the dash while my wife is driving but no air at all.
Good luck and thanks
