Dash vinyl

Ok so I'm in he process of building a new center console, http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ck-196390.html

Looking for a link or info on matching the dashboard vinyl. I've checked fabric stores but no luck. I'm going to put a call in tomorrow to FR to see what they have to say. I need to wrap the new console and would like to match the dashboard. As a last resort I could use a dark brown as a contrast color. If anyone has any links or info it would be appreciated.

This is the color of the dash

Better to have a bad day of camping than a good day at work!

why not a black by the way how do you plan to remove dog house after you complete it?

I was thinking black, but dark brown will go better with the interior.

The dog house will be removed the same as it would be before the new console. The cupholders need to be removed, then the face and all accessories/wiring and then remove the plastic console. It may take me an extra 5 minutes to remove it. Because the doghouse angles up at the front it can't just be slid out so with either setup removal is necessary.

Other option would be to match the wood cabinetry of the coach

I was thinking that, but that’s a lot of wood in the middle of the dash. I want it to blend in a little. But thanks for the idea!

Here is the link to my post on what I have done so far. http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ck-196390.html

And here is what I have cut out so far.

The top left is my rear view monitor, top right will be my radio (still need that for the cutout size), below the monitor will be the TPMS monitor, and a USB connection for the radio, below the radio are the AC controls. Then all my switches and there will be 2 outlets on either side of them one with 2 charging usb's and a voltage display and another 12V. I still have more work to do for framing the openings so I can mount the 2 monitors and AC controls. Hopefully tomorrow.

Check out the other thread for the updates.

Thanks again. Went to hobby lobby today. The color was as close as I think I’m going to get without waiting, probably forever, for the exact match. I think the slightly darker color will be a nice contrast.

Well I am just about done. Only thing left is to cut and stain some oak trim to cover the staples. Turned out pretty good. The Stan is abit dark, but it should be close to the dash wood look trim.

I'm not sure on the stainless screws! I'll leave them for now, but if I don't like them I'll get some black oxide screws so they don't stand out.

Now I need to get the MH home and install it. Then I can work on my lower console with the cupholders.
