Do you have HDMI running from your switch to the tv? My 369 does not. After figuring out the above I labeled all of my cables. If you decide to use the park cable tv you will need to unhook the cable going to the receiver an attach it back to the switch.
I also have a small fan in the over head to cool it down. My 211 over heats in the summer up there.

I'm using an Actiontech wireless HDMI transmitter. Thanks for the tip on the fan. I can see it getting pretty hot up there.

If you install a cheap A-B switch you won't have to disconnect and reconnect the cable, just flip the switch. This shows an A-B interconnect for the receiver. Here's one that is less than $4.00.

I didn't think that you could put a switch between the receiver in the dish? Maybe I didn't understand.

It's a "splitter" that causes trouble between the antenna and receiver. Splitters after the receiver is no problem. A switch causes no issues. That circuit I posted is my carryout Dish installation. I have the VIP211K receiver so I can use the coax cables existing in my unit. I view SD instead of HD but that's fine with me.
