Dometic 300 Toilet Valve

I need to replace the water valve on my Dometic 300 toilet. Easy job with a little patience however I go on line to order a valve, surprise , pricing ranges from about 10-50 dollars and they all look the same. Anyone have any experience with this and would they share it. Understand it's not price I am concerned with but value and reliability.

All the valves are the same from China. $10 on Ebay
Make sure you have the 2 screws and the hose clamp.z

Why are you replacing the valve? If its low water pressure you need to remove and clean the screen on the inlet side of the valve.

Here is the Install for the new valve for you.

Here is the best deal I can find on Ebay for $10.99 and free shipping>

The water supply valve might not be too bad if its just on the back and easy to get to. I had a Thetford toilet once where the tank wouldn’t hold water and I eventually got sick of always having to put vaseline on the rubber seal in the bottom. Got this bright idea I’d just buy the rebuild kit and replace the seal.

I got it done, but two things I learned that day:
1) I’ll never do it again, next time I’ll just replace the entire toilet since I have to remove the entire toilet to do it.
2) I’ll never buy a Thetford toilet if I’m replacing one.

When that same seal eventually failed again the Thetford aqua magic POS toilet got replaced with a nice, real ceramic, real wooden soft close lid Dometic toilet where Dometic actually located the flange bolts so you could actually get to them.
