Dometic AC not cooling 2015 364T Georgetown

My MH has 2 identical AC Units each 13, 500 btu
Living room unit will blow air but not cool. Do not hear compressor kick in. I know how to use the thermostat and am sure I have it in AC mode not just fan.
I have swapped thermostats with bedroom unit no change
I have swapped capacitors no change
Any other suggestions, other than the obvious “bad compressor” on a 3 year old unit?
Anyone know of any recalls on the unit?
The unit serial number is 34923559, SKU9105305555, Prod no. 936000805

Love the forum
Thanks for any help

You got three years out of it, I only got 1 year out of one of mine. They are throw away units. The compressors are known to fail early. Had the same thing happen to one on my Cardinal 5th wheel after only a year. So two for me. Looks like you will be a/c shopping.

Mine failed after 3 years as well. Very disappointing to say the least. Couldn’t find any recalls on it and when I had it looked at was a bad compressor. Bought a new one on amazon and installed it myself in 15 minutes. Now I sit and wait for the front unit to fail. But so far so good.

Hard to say without checking a few items. If you are comfortable with high voltage then I would check voltage at compressor. Once it turns on and you have 120 volts at compressor terminals then compressor may be shot. It could also be the control board but that takes more knowledge on which relay turns the compressor on.
Dometic replaced mine after it was 3 years old as a goodwill gesture but would not give me a warranty with it. Still running after 3 1/2 years. All I had to do is call a mobile RV repair person come confirm it was going out. The repairman charged $89.00 to replace it.
Call Dometic first and see what they will do for you.

AC Unit not cooling

I have not checked voltage at the compressor but the non working compressor is so hot you can barely hold your hand on it while the rear compressor unit is barely warm to touch.
Looks like it will be a day on the phone with Dometic and my extended warranty folks.

So disappointing on last lake trip of the season and getting ready to move MH to Tuscaloosa ( 3hrs away) for football season.

No help from Dometic

No help from Dometic on AC replacement!!!

I gave my wife permission to hit me over the head with a frying pan if I ever bring up the thought of getting another RV!!
These things are nothing but cheap junk!!!!
Service and repair is no better!!!!

Ours just went out after 2 years and 3700 miles! Purchasing a new unit, not Dometic!

Change the compressor capacitor. It is worth spending $5-10 to see if that causes the compressor to run--and hope it hasn't burned out from repeated attempts to run it.

Take the capacitor you have to any HVAC or motor supply and ask them to match it.

When we purchase our new 5th wheel it came with a 15K Dometic and we added another 15K Dometic, one unit just cannot cool our trailer in this southern heat. Dometic offered me a three year extended warranty that covers parts & labor on both units. I took advantage of the offer and now have a five year warranty on both.

I’ve had my 2015 Wildwood Ultra Lite for 3 seasons now. Had 3 Dometic AC’s replaced entirely...each while still under warranty!! Think next time I’ll just fork out of pocket for a different brand!!
