Door Won't Close on 2014 351DS

I'm trying to take my coach in for service (different issue) and the door will not close. I looked extensively to make sure I wasn't doing something dumb like leaving the lock extended. I don't think this is a bonehead moment. The two pins are about 1/32" short of clearing the latch assembly.

It's 40 degrees so I'm not sure if I just have to wait for it to warm up (read that on here). I leveled the coach and still had the same issue.

Can anyone explain how the door adjusts? I started looking for a number to a forrest river help-line but was not able to find one. That information would be helpful too.

Get in the coach when ready to take to dealership, wire the door closed best as possible and tell them to fix the door. It's a warranty issue. Folks who fix warranty items themselves only hurt the rest of us because the problem is not identified to Forest River and they just keep on their merry happy way.

You may need to adjust the striker plate with a Phillips head screwdriver, I've had to adjust ours.

OR

If the wind has helped open your door take a look at this thread.

Absolutely right ab&jb. I was able to adjust it enough to get it closed and went to the dealer. They spent about 15 minutes working on the strike plate and it's perfect... better than ever.

Thanks!
