Drivers side and Pass side windows have faded
We have a 2005 Georgetown XL and the side Glass on Drivers side and the Passenger side have faded.....Looks like it could be a double pane glass and the material inside is faded........has anyone seen this problem...can it be repaired or do we have to replace the glass....makes it really hard to see out, especially in really sunny days.......

Have same unit and no issues so far. The driver side is single pane glass in the drivers door that rolls up and down. Looks a lot like auto door glass. Passenger side is sliding windows. Never noticed if they were double pane.

A "Genturi" will usually solve that, but it's a PITA to set up in a Wal*Mart lot.
We use one whenever we dry camp to keep fumes out of the bedroom. Opening windows just makes it worse.

A Genturi is a low-backpressure exhaust extension, either purchased from a camping supply store, or homemade.
A PITA is a Pain in the *****.

If you have the Onan 5500, you can safely extend the 1-1/4" exhaust up to three feet with e.m.t. Would that clear the slide?
Using the Genturi, I've never had the AC pull any fumes into the bedroom. Mine exhausts about two feet above the roof.
I made it with 3" thin wall PVC, some steel straps, some rivets, and a 90-degree e.m.t. sweep bend. I used two 2" suction cups and a home-made bracket to attach it. The only critical part is the measurement from the end of the e.m.t. to the base of the PVC. It should be the same as the i.d. of the PVC.
Cost less than $20.

While I don't have a generator exhaust extension (Gen-turi) the folks who had my 2005 359ts had one and the brackets they installed are still there so I know one will fit your unit.
Actually, we never dry camp so it has not been an issue (yet). I would NOT run the generator and try to sleep above that exhaust. CO is lighter than air and will rise. I would lie awake all night waiting to be gassed!

My GeorgeTown XL (2005) has some rocker switches on the dash with symbols that I cannot figure out what they do....I know (example) what the symbol for the Fog lights is, but a couple of the others are a mystery....any help.

Can you post a picture. You can probably buff it out.

On the side panel you have:
Headlight Switch
ICC = Flashes your light to say thank you after someone flashes their lights to tell you it's okay to switch lanes
Batt Boost = You can use the coaches batteries to start your engine if your engine battery is too low
Fog Lights = Self explanatory
Mirror Heat = Heat for the mirrors
Mirror Remotes = Controls left and right mirrors
In the center console you have:
Dash Fan = Turns on the two fans on the windshield
Map Light = Turns on the passengers side map light
Radi0 = Turns on the radio when the engine is off
Generator = Turns on your generator
I think that covers it.
