Electrical system

Is it ok to hook up a 50 amp coach to a 30 amp outlet if I don’t use the air conditioners?

Its ok to plug into a 30 amp outlet and run one air conditioner. Just be careful if your using the microwave and air conditioner at the same time. Worst case scenario you pop a circuit breaker.

As stated, you can probably run one, and be fine. This link may help

Thanks for your answers. Now if I can get the shower water to go into the tank instead of in the bins maybe I can actually take a shower in there.

I have often run two AC’s on a 30 amp with no issues.

About your showers water. Has it ever worked or is this new? I had that issue once when the factory installed the one way valve backwards.

I also hear people that run one a/c off a standard household outlet but low voltage doing either one may be damaging your a/c

I bought it used with 1100 miles on it. Used once before I got it. Dealer told me they found a leak but fixed it. Apparently they didn’t.
Thanks for the help with electric. I’ll be in Lake George in October so good chance I’ll be running the furnace instead of the heater!

I have also run 2 ac units on a 30 amp but would not recommend it. I checked the voltage and noticed it had dropped to 103 volts. This causes the compressor to run hotter and can permanently damage and reduce its lifespan. It can also damage the fridge compressor if its a residential unit.
