Exterior 110v outlet Georgetown 300 mh

Can't find any exterior electrical outlets on my rig. Looked everywhere. Ended up plugging into an interior outlet. With 150' extension cord. That would be a pain to have to do that on a regular basis.
Heck, my TT had at least one exterior outlet.

hmmmm, mine has one inside a compartment on the passenger side - did you check in the compartments at all?

If we're hooked up at a site with 20 amp on the pedestal, I usually just run an extension cord from there around the back and up to the front - it's on a nice winder and has 6 plugs.

Same here, my external receptacle is inside the compartment on the passenger side. It is nice for me when I need to use any electrical while having my picnic table out on that same side.

Since the 270 is a smaller less expensive model it may not have an exterior plug. But like others said, it is typically up high on the right side of a passenger side compartment.

We have 2014, 328 Georgetown. Ours did not one either the dealer was surprised too. Forest River told dealer there was not one. So our dealer installed one for us at their cost. Northside RV in Lexington, Ky. We bought it new.

On my unit there is also one that the converter plugs into in the Power Bay. it is a brown outlet on the roof of the compartment.

Design Features

I'm Amazed that the best design features do not carry over to other models and get eliminated, forgotten, or have to be reinvented. I loved the floorplan of my 25FKS TT better than my 270S RV at times. Well designed floor plan with better Kitchen, bath, ... layouts. The front drive area made the fwd kitchen move for obvious reasons, then it impacted other items like the bath. But the lack of a complete (sink, refr, stove) exterior kitchen, exterior sound system with tv relocated from inside (Honestly, I don't need 3 dedicated TVs - outside, Kitchen, BR), external 30 amp plug in hookup vs hard wired 50 amp, external 120VAc outlet vs inside of a storage locker that has to be kept open to use (another mod soon to do - probably add, not replace).

On the plus for the RV, I do like a longer shallower slide vs short and deep. Also the dual cable vs single screw is more reliable - IMHO. Ultimately, not having to park, ... to .... Happy wife ....

Bill, are you confused again? No one has even mentioned a 270 other than 270s whose post is #8

On the RV's with the electrical outlet in the bay there is a portal (Just like in the water and power bays) for the cord to be run outside the bay, at least my has one.

That compartment on my 300 is the battery compartment. I don't think i have one there, but I'll recheck when i get back out to storage. Thank you for your reply.

That's exactly right, mines on the right wall of the second compartment behind the steps just behind the battery compartment. I didn't look for the cable nipple mostly because i don't think I'd ever use it.
I have two tv's installed in the coach that will work off cable if it's available or the antennae if not. One of these years, I'll invest in a direct tv hd dish set up.

We have a 2013 Georgetown xl 378. Our outside outlet is located inside the storage compartment just left of the enterance door. It is a gfi as well. Hope this helps.
