First mod

My first mod was to change out the 50 amp power cord to the surge guard flex 50 amp. What a difference it makes. Will coil right up in the small part of the compartment giving you back the pass thru on my XL 377. Bought it from boat and rv accessories for $123 shipped to my house. Will try and post picks, first time so don't know if they will load.

Congrats on your 1st mod. Can't wait to see pics. There's a learning curve there. I was just recently thinking of doing something like that. Was it easy enough or something from nightmare land?

It was a easy install, less then 45 mins. I did take a pic of the wires before removing the cord. I live in the Seattle area and the temp of the cord was always going to be a fight. I also did not want to give up my pass thru to just store the cord. I will try to add a pic, but I'm having issues.

I think you he a 378TS model.
In stead of coiling the cable in that compartment I use the crossover part of hat compartment and have my cable the length and coil it only once.
I may have to take a picture next time to show you what I mean.
