First of possibly many questions

We are parked at our site. Hooked up to good power. Solar controller shows it is doing it's thing. The coach batteries ,4- 6 volt, are at 13.3 volts, the chassis batteries are at 12.7 volts. They seem to be holding steady at that since yesterday. Battery control center switch by the door is yellow, and if I flip it down I hear the "clunk" and if I then turn it back on, I hear the " clunk". Is all this normal?

That’s a pretty technical description you’ve got going on there. “Clunk”

You’re probably talking about the battery disconnect switch. To confirm….

1. Disconnect your power cord from being hooked up.
2. Your lights, awning, ceiling fans should still work okay…..Microwave, TV, Air Conditioner, or anything else plugged into an outlet will NOT.
3. Flip your switch down “clunk” …..and now your lights, awning, ceiling fans will probably no longer work. These are 12 volt items, and when you turn down your switch, you’ve disconnected your 12 volt supply.
4. Reverse all previous steps, and you’re back in business.

House batteries and chassis battery, the one that starts the engine, will no longer charge from shore power or the generator. I suspect the chassis battery will not charge from solar either but it really depends on how your solar is wired.
