Flooring upgrade

Has anybody installed vinyl plank flooring, in there Motorhome.

I replaced the flooring in the living room, kitchen, entryway, hallway and bathroom with lvp flooring.

After researching whats required, viewing countless YouTube videos, and seeing costly mistakes being made, I asked my rv dealer if he would take on the job.

Glad I did. Corners can be cut, shortcuts can be taken, but to do it right takes experience. For example, my dealer determined my living room slide out with a raised floor was a good candidate for lvp flooring because flush floor slide-outs can damage flooring.
They stripped down areas to the plywood subfloor after removing the dinette. Carpeting staples removed too.

Then, he had a flooring subcontractor choose lvp flooring candidates which are designed to withstand extreme temperatures and let us choose from that list.

Additionally, the sub worked with the flooring manufacturer on the correct installation method for a motorhome.

After the flooring sub was done, my dealer finished out the trim, caulked edges in wet areas, and reinstalled the booth dinette.

Many folks have done this mod including myself on my class A it is well within the scope of the DIY RVer. use the search function at the top of the page and check out youtube the amount of research you do will save you headaches. good luck

In the kitchen it went over the old sheet vinyl in the slide I pulled up the carpet.
