Fog Lights 270S
Has anyone looked at hoe their fog lights are installed and "adjusted"? After discovering how miserable the regular lights were installed and adjusted, I investigated the fog lights - EVEN WORSE!!!
Aside from NO adjustment horizontally or vertically, they were installed totally atrociously and aimed into space or straight down, not to mention at a 45 degree angle to the horizon. This is the latest in a string of warranty type issues I am fixing myself - don't trust RV dealerships(s) quality control!
I am going to have to fiberglass in new mounting boards, cut a hole and then attach the lights correctly using a level!
When I get all of my upgrades and warranty issues completed, I will post all of it on a dedicated web page, because it will be WAY TOO LONG to post in the forum. If these miserable Quality Control issues existed on my Forest River Travel Trailer (was really good considering the industry), I would have selected another manufacturer. Jayco seems better than how my Georgetown 270S was constructed. My only advice for everyone, is DO NOT purchase a unit that is made at year end (Dec - Jan), End of a production Run, or discontinued model. I thing FR installs higher grade appliances, but that is it at this point. They all ____.
