For those with the Precision Plex system and app on their phone

I got my app configured to the unit yesterday and notified that I could not control my thermostats through the app. Is thermostat control not offered with the GT7 series coaches?

I've read the same complaint about the Precision Plex system many times across many different motorhome models.

Consider contacting them and asking when HVAC controls will be added. They've always been responsive to my questions.

Oddly, the screenshot on the Google Play store does show "Thermostats" but a review dated February 1st says it does not. As do others.

The Precision Plex App seems to go through waves of good and bad. Mine was crashing for a while any time I opened the propane screen. I called them and sent them the logs from the app and next time they updated it was fixed.

After much weeping and gnashing of teeth, I finally got some better instructions direct from Precision Plex Now it connects and works like a champ.
I do not believe that the App can manage the HVAC. If you can't do this on the control panel in the coach, it can't be done on your phone.
Precision Plex would need to integrate all controls and the thermostat into their programming and i just don't see this happening. Dean - Isata 3, Indianapolis.

That's kind of the problem. Starting with at least some 2020.5 models, FR removed the physical thermostats and replaced them with touchscreen control. But the Precision Plex app cannot control the same HVAC functions that their touchscreen can.

Ray - Thank you for the correction. That's what I get for trying to be an expert with outdated information. I made the assumption that my 2019 panel was the latest and greatest offering.

Hi, the 21.5 GT7 36K7 that we just picked up will not allow us to control the A/C or heat through the app on our phones, we have to control them with the Precision Plex touchscreen.

We've had the new RV for a week. Air was working fine, front and rear, until yesterday it won't turn on from the panel. We've checked everything and even had some help over the phone from service tech at our dealership. I'm awaiting an email response/call back from Precision Plex... any ideas?

Is there a way to turn on the air without the panel until it gets figured out?

This whole Precision Plex is just like most computers ( and even my iPhone sometimes). It gets a burr under the saddle and does not operate correctly. Try rebooting by turning off all power to the RV with the battery disconnect. Rebooting generally sets things back on the right path. Dean
