Fr500 ??????

I am trying to decipher my Firemist Paint Codes in order to buy some touch up paint. They failed to include any when I purchased new last year..

Coach color is the common FIRE MIST

I have determined the following which may or not be correct:

My codes: 40888, FR500, 3N6 (sticker says these are Sikkens colors)

40888 looks to be a 1998 GM Black metallic (no problem here)

FR500 Could not cross it to anything, looks like a Forest River color

3N6 Could be a Vintage Red Pearl?? Not sure.

Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Have you thought about calling Forest River and asking?

Iggy, I did! They gave me the same numbers. I have no idea what a FR500 paint code is, nor does anyone else apparently...

Inthe upper left hand corner of my paint color label it has a company name of...
Akzo Nobel and they do have a paint shop in Elkhart In.
Maybe a little research may find a phone number to call and ask

Thanks Iggy, I sent them an email today. My sticker said Sikkens paint was used. Maybe they will get back with me....

just went threw this last week. I handed paint codes to painter and he had problems with the color fr500,he then called company that painted motor home and they told him it was a custom color, this was not much help, he figured it out, and the small scratch came out perfect. He said they weren't much help. Pete
