Front Trim Removal - 351DS

We have a 2014 - 351DS. Like everyone else we have nothing but trouble with the cabling in this coach. We also have a Winegard in-motion satellite system to add to the frustration. I've lost power to the dish on the roof, so trying to track that down. Of course everything is ran behind the overhead cabinet above the passenger seat. I can't get the back of that cabinet out without breaking it, so I'm wondering if I can access it by dropping the padded roof panel that is between the windshield and privacy shade. Does anyone know if there's access behind there? If so, any idea how to remove it? I've pulled out the 4 screws but can't figure out what's holding it in on the back side, closest to the shade.

Here's a pic of the piece I'm referring to:

We have the 2013 351 and don't have the padded covering that goes from the cabinet to the windshield -- it is open. Even with that, there is no access to the cabling that I have found. I want to do the same thing -- access the cables, but no luck.

I think one of these threads someone indicated that we essentially have to "cut" out things in order to get access. So, i'm going to start up at the roof with the antenna and check the cabling there first. Many others have indicated the connections at the antenna have been very loose. Figure easier to replace the sealer than the wood.

Is your unit out of warranty? If so, was the in motion antenna installed by a dealer and is that warranty still good?

Our unit is out of warranty. We've had the dealer look at the cabling 4 times during the 1st year, never resulting in a positive outcome to improving the quality. Even after they've serviced it I find a loose connection somewhere.

The same dealer installed the in-motion before we took delivery, I just assumed it held the same year warranty but will verify. They did not use the pre-wired satellite connection on the roof but rather ran their own cables, drilled a hole through the roof behind this cabinet and mounted everything there. That's why I'm assuming there's access to that area somewhere, or they're really good pulling wires! I'll try calling them to ask.

Check the coax cable. Open the connection and check for the center wire. Had this problem at Goshen, opened up connector and the center wire was rusted away. One of the Techs came over and spliced on a new end. Worked. I would have done it myself if home. Tools at Lowes or HD.
