Furnace

I need help in locating the furnace on a 2004 Georgetown 359ts. The furnace does not turn on and the manual indicates how to reset it but does not state its location. I think it is amusing that I cannot locate the furnace.

I have a 2005 359ts. If I look outside on the passenger side of the coach I can see two small round vents not far from the refrigerator vents. On the inside next to the refrigerator is a wooden grate that is the air intake for my furnace. I am sure the furnace is behind that grate although I have never tried to actually remove it or get to the furnace.

Go online and look for a photo ani I am sure you will see the air intake and vents are on opposite ends of the elusive little rascal.

Hope this helps.

Bill

Frank4 is correct. That is where the wooden grate is and the outside vents are under the fridge vent/access panel. In the pic it is just above the box. Thoe other pic shows the grate just below the fridge. So, the furnace is mounted just below the refrigerator. The link below should show a pic of the furnace itself.

On that model your correct on the location but make sure you check for the furnace fuse first because to my knowledge there is an on/off switch but no such (reset) . Let me know if you need more help after this!

Mine only had an on/off switch. Using it made no difference to reset it. It will have to come out.

Ok make sure the fuse is good and if you have a 12v test light check the red and yellow to make sure it has power if it has power take the small red and white wires and either jump them with another wire or cut and strip them and twist them together this bypasses the thermostat and the furnace should then turn on if it does then the thermostat needs to be replaced . Hope this helps you trouble shoot it before you half to remove it! If you do end up removing and have questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
