Furnace won’t work

It is a 2011 Georgetown 378 that the main furnace won’t start on coach power. When I plug into shore power and set the furnace to heat, the air conditioner starts up but not the furnace. Back furnace works as it should. Any ideas? Thanks

Is your A/C on the roof and your furnace down lower or a combination unit?

Are you sure the air conditioner starts up or is it just the blower of that air conditioner? If the later, it's probably because you have that thermostat's FAN setting on HI or LO when it should be on AU for Auto.

I think it is the heater. That makes total sense. I will try the rear air and heater and see what happens. Will let everyone know what happens. Thanks

Furnacw Priority

If your AC also does heat you must choose the furnace as priority when thermostat is set to heat. If you don't select furnace it will use the AC for heat until the outdoor temp is too cold to use the AC then auto switch to the furnace.

My nearly new suburban furnace quit. A $10 overheat safety shutdown switch failed. The repair bill for a mobile tech for 2 trips was $300. He used a US made brand.
