Fuse for Dual Slides?

We have a 2007 Georgetown with dual slides.

Today I went to the storage yard and noticed one slide was out a few inches.

This has happened before when we have large shifts in temperature from cool to warm and back again.

Previously I just pressed the slide button to move it out then back in and everything was fine.

When I went inside this time and tried to use slide control to move it out then back in there was nothing when I pressed either slide button for IN or Out. No clicking, nothing.

I made sure the battery disconnect by the door was ON(generator will not start unless it is ON, tested that). Cycled the switch to make sure the relays were working(heard them click ON and OFF with each change of the battery switch).

Everything else electric in the coach works.

I started the generator, and the coach motor, both started and ran with no problem. It does not appear to be a problem with the batteries but more a fuse issue.
Checked all the fuses under the step and they all are good.

Any idea where the fuse would be for the slides?

Any idea what else to check?

In this diagram it shows a breaker for the hydraulic pump. Have you check and reset it?

Thank you, I did not have this diagram, appreciate you providing it.

I have not yet reset the breaker, will do once I find it, do you figure its under the step with the other thick Red leads?

When I tested the fuses under the step all had power and were good except for one(good fuse, but no power).

The only one that did not have power was the CPC-Purple (last fuse on the right in the fuse box) which is the Ignition Cut Off.

I do believe the breaker is under the step, have a look at post #6 in this thread.

That a great picture in that reference, thank you.
I have a similar looking connection(pictured below). Its a old picture I took of all the electric a few years ago so I would always have a reference to look at.
My picture is not as clear as the one in the other post, and I am not sure it has a reset button, but I now know what to look for when I go to the yard tomorrow.
My picture is the blurry one, the one you referenced is the nice clear one.

Fuse for Dual Slides

Went out to the storage yard today and rechecked all the fuses and the circuit breaker.
Each had power to both sides of the fuses and to the circuit breaker.

Even though both sides of the breaker having power I tried to reset the breaker and did not see a way to do that. Is there a cover that has to be removed?

Removed the control panel and tested the panel for power to the slide switches and did not detect power to the slide switches. Other switches in the panel had power.

With no power to the CPC-Purple slide fuse I am suspecting this to be an indicator of the problem. Is there another fuse or relay that provides power to this fuse?

That is typically referred to as a switch blade circuit breaker because a red or black blade will be extended from it when open (popped). To reset just push the blade back up. Some will have a press to test function as does this one.

Do you need to have the parking brake on for the system to work?

Red face Thank you for the help

Excuses in order:
1)When we camp I use the parking brake.
When I store a vehicle for a long period of time I leave the brake off so as to no lock parking brake to the drum or disk.
2)Once I read the post about the parking brake I went to the yard and put it on.

Still could not get the slide to work.

Went and checked the fuses again. This time the right most purple line had power. However when I moved the fuse I could see I was getting intermittent connection to power. I took the fuse out and squeezed the connector blades together and reinserted the fuse. This time power stayed on.

Retried the slide and it worked.

Thank you both for giving me the information I needed.
When I bring the MH home I will solder a separate fuse block to the current fuse holder that way I have a secure connection with a removable fuse.

I’ve been on the sidelines following this trouble report and possible solutions.

So glad to hear that George-B is back in operation, and thanks to all that contributed. Glad to hear George-B stayed in touch with updates. Also, pictures always help everyone.....both the person having trouble and those assisting.

Finally, thanks to George-B for getting back to this posting with his remedies. We all are in a position where we never stop learning.

This entire post from start to finish was timely, clearly written, great pictures, and helpful for anyone who cared to be along for the ride.
