You need to provide way more information.
Year, make and model number of your RV.
Make and model number of the genset.

Congrats on your first post & thread.
It would help if you told us what you have for a rig.
Pics also help.
Lots of good info here.

Although I don't have a Georgetown, changing out a switch is fairly common to a lot of RVs.
But we really need a pic of the switch.
Check out this post to learn how to post a pic.

It is a DPDT (mom ON/OFF/mom ON) switch but think it may be wired with an adapter made for FR and may have to be exchanged with a standard DPDT (*ON/OFF/*ON) switch with a bulb in the top socket and wires cut and re-terminated with spade socket disconnects. There is a cheap plastic tool to remove the switch cover for reuse.

I'd check with a dealer or Forest River. If they can't help maybe some RV salvage places as the RV is 10 years old. Good Luck!

Here's the removal tool for the rocker switch actuator (cover) if you need to. $2 to $6.

Now I can't remember if the switch is an illuminated DPDT or a SPDT (momentary on-off-momentary on) with 5 terminals. Maybe someone knows for sure as I don't want to lead you astray. There is a part number 308-1038 switch for the gen and that may be correct. Google the part number.

BX4 one must ignore the useless replies and wait for a productive member to lead you in the correct direction or provide an answer.
Personally, I have had to replace a few different switches starting with delivery (NO ONE but the original owner does a PDI). After discovering the problem(s), I called parts and they sent me the correctly labeled replacements. If you are (assume so) out of warranty, the price is minimal, but they may have you go to a FR dealer vs sending it directly to you. Some models in FR do, some don't.
Good luck. I knew what you were talking about/describing even without a picture, but to some it's helpful/necessary.

Just located some pics of the switches that i had to replace. Inherit defect in design. FYI, I replaced the entire switch vs just the cover in order to noit break the replacement by trying to separate it. Just pull out the entire switch and Pull off, then on wires.

That's why I suggested the removal tool for the OP so the switch cover can be swapped with the new switch body. It can be had for as little as $2. This is Amazons. It's a good tool to have in the bag.
