I start my generator each month to keep it running smoothly. But it now will shut off after 5 mins running. It will not start until it cools down. How can I check to see what is wrong with it. It has a new caberator, new spark plug, is there a sensor or something else Im missing
We had the same problem, Took it into Onan and they had to replace the fuel pump. They said it was weak. They replaced it and 4 months later the new fuel pump was leaking, They replaced it again and have not had any more porblems. Thats been almost 14 months.
