Thanks for the comparisons. Kinda neat to see the differences.

One thing I did note so far, is that it appears there used to be lights or some form of lighting as standard equipment in the luggage bays on the older models and then it stopped. I know it's something I'm going to be looking at doing.

There have been minor design changes in the dash layout of the controls over the years too. You can see the evolution of the split windshield to the one piece......nice. I'm thinking TV's have changed to incorporate flat screen evolution. One option was for a built-in desktop for a PC or such for the co-pilot. Hey.....if the space is there, why not?

We have the laptop extension in the dash. Nice place to put all of my Zip Drives, registration, insurance info and other paperwork. We have the two piece windshield also. The compartment lights are on 2 switches just inside the coach by the steps, labeled Curbside and Roadside. The engine compartment has a light that comes on with the Curbside Switch and in the Trunk with the Spare Tire has a light that comes on from the Roadside Switch. We have the 32" HDTV from Westinghouse, they've changed manufacturers just about every year since then. The Artic Pak was a Forced option as stated in the brochure. If you have to have it where does OPTION fit in?????

Hi Ken and terry:
we have been following the Georgetown name since we bought our MH back in 2003. We have been very happy with it. Just read on the RVBusiness magazine yesterday where the Georgetown was the largest selling brand name in the Gas Motorhome segment again last year. I believe thats at least 2 years in a row that Georgetown has won.

We also have the 2008 Gerogetown XL 378 and love it. What repairs that have been done, was covered by Forest River and an extended warranty we have. Very little out of our pocket. Ours has over 20,000 on it now after traveling out to the west coast and back and seeing all of the national parks along the way. The Ford chasis has stood up well. It was a good investment.

Even after researching a number of competitors motorhomes, it seems the Ford Triton V10 is the preferred powerplant in gas models. Whoever is in second place, is well down the list as far as I can tell. After all, it doesn't matter what model or floorplan you've chosen if you can't get it there for you to enjoy!!!!!!!
