Georgetown XL 369 Inverter location

Can anyone tell me where the inverter is located on a 2017 Georgetown XL 369? Also, where is the fuse for this device located?

On the 2016 Georgetown XL 369 inverter is on a shelf above the lp tank. That's also where the switch is for the refig and the location for the second switch if you ever decide to put one in.

I was going to add the second switch to run the general outlets. This would let me have 110 AC in all of the plugs that don't have a GFI. We could use our PCs or entertainment running down the road or stopped for lunch without the gen or being plugged in.
It would be great for dry camping. The coach engine charges the batteries. The residential refrig only requires 900 watts. That leaves about 1000 watts not being used.
The general outlets are labeled such in the fuse box. This would provide power at the dinette​ and passenger seat. You would not be as dependent as we are now with the 12 volt outlets. There is only one. When traveling we have 2 phone, 1 lap top, 1 tablet, 1 GPS, and 1 dash camera running.
Most coaches in this price range have several 12 volt outlets up front and by the dinette​. They also are set up with many of the 110 outlets running off of the inverter.

Thanks JBP for telling me where to find the inverter. This access port above the propane tank does not allow you to see much of the inverter. When the black panel with the port is removed we could see the re-set button on the side. We reset the inverter and now our frig is working again on inverter power.

My lay out was different. I removed the board covering the shelf and had easy access. They must have change between the 2016 and 2017 XL 369SD.

My inverter on 2018 36B5 is under sink, access hole , 2000 watt Freedom Xi Xantrex,

"Switch" refers to an automatic transfer switch. It senses the presence of AC coming from the power panel and automatically disconnects the inverter to reduce battery usage. They cost maybe $50.

Georgetown went to a 2000 watt PSW inverter which is far more than the residential frig needs. Some have added a second transfer switch that connects to the non GFC outlets so that they have AC all the time. On my 335 this also powers both televisions as well as all of the outlets with the exception of those in the galley and head.

Hi I’m looking at 2018 Georgetown XL 369DS can you please tell me if the inverter runs anything else besides the refrigerator? And if you have one do you like it and would you get another one? Iam coming from a Georgetown G3 30x3 .... thanks

Our 2017 369's inverter powers only the frig. I see others have connected more to it.

I have had my 2018 XL 369DS for about a month now and we love it so far, the inverter is ONLY connected to the frig. I have only peeked into that small round access hole to see the inverter but can't tell if its a 2000 watt or 1000 watt. Can anyone FOR SURE verify it is a 2000 watt because I could swear I read somewhere the 2018 369DS only has a 1000 watt inverter.

The black panel that has the access hole on our 2017 369 is flexible and can be removed easily to see our 2000 Watt inverter. I leave the panel removed because we have to reset the inverter often.

Thanks, mine is that way too so I guess I will remove mine as well, coming from having a Diesel pusher its kind of weird finding all of these plastic flexible covers and walls. The first time I pushed the AC control button on the living room wall and the entire wall moved it kind of freaked me out but its just the usual in a gas Class A

Me too. We traded from 5th wheels to the 369 and I was also surprised to see both the living room and bedroom thermostats were not attached to a stud or other support. We were also surprised to find "cheesy" ceiling fans in both bathrooms. We finally had the rear bathroom fan replaced with a fantastic fan with a remote control.

The Inverter only powers the frig, but some have added another Xantrex transfer switch and powered some of the convenience outlets as well. On my 335, the big 23 cuft reefer never uses more that 600 watts and that is for maybe 15 minutes out of 7 hours. After than it drops down to 150 and then to 90 watts. Plenty of surplus capacity on a 2000 watt Xantrex.

For sure it is, even a 1000 watt inverter could power most anything that is not heat making along with a res frig which are a thousand times more efficient than a propane/elec RV frig....in our previous rig my 2000 watt inverter would run my propane/elec RV frig as well as pretty much anything else I could plug in or turn on other than the A/C units.

Well, not 1000 but on a btu basis, a lot.RR today draws less than a 100 watt light bulb, some less than a 60.
