Got an overhead power bunk? Check your straps

While putting sheets on the overhead bunk for the first time I noticed that the strap closest to the front is twisted. The other one is flat.

The picture shows the passenger side end on the right. The strap starts off flat and then is twisted and goes out the driver's side to where it attaches to the wall. That will cause the strap edges to chafe on the wood as the bunk goes up and down.

One end of the strap will need to come off and be rewound so this is now added to the dealer list of warranty issues.

You can't imagine what we had to do to get a unit without an overhead bunk. With just the two of us, a king bed, and a fold out couch we really didn't want it but it took Georgetown two attempts to build one without.

It's picky people like you that give customers a bad name.

I'll bet your desk is real neat!

Seriously, it's a small issue, but one that shouldn't be found.
