Heeeeelllllpppp!!!!! with Georgetown engine fail to run

Hey all I have a renter currently in Missoula Montana. I have a 2011 Georgetown 350. Yesterday they stopped to fill up drove around the parking lot and the unit died after sputtering. They’re able to get it started but when putting it in gear and giving it gas it sputters and dies. From the research I’ve done on the forums it sounds like a fuel delivery issue. I Cannot find a mechanic or resource to help them out. I feel terrible. Good Sam hasn’t been able to assist outside of towing them to a campground last night. Does anyone have resources out there that can help? Please PM me here if you can assist. I’d greatly appreciate it. Robert

Might be a dumb question, but did they put the right fuel in it?

If you can’t find a mobile mechanic, call some shops and see if they can fix it quick, have it towed and pay for a hotel plus Uber ride. Maybe just a fuel filter on the frame rail and not in the tank. Is there a check engine light?

Sounds like the fuel pump is gone.

They’ve found a shop across the steeet from the park they’re in now. He’s looking at it tomorrow. There is no check engine light on. Does anyone have a part number for this? I’d like to get ahead of the curve and get it ordered if we can.

Third fill-up, but likely not at the same station. Might they have gotten bad gas, or could the fuel filter be clogged?

Or filled up with E85 to save a few cents per gallon.

You had this same problem when you were using it about a year ago. You never did come back to tell everybody who helped what the resolution was then.

Maybe it’s the same thing.

He just worked on the wiper motor. He probably has major issues with wiring.

No.

This is the beginning of his original post in that thread:

“2011 FR Georgetown 350 bunk house. Ford v10 engine. This weekend we had trouble getting the coach to start after fueling up. Turned key and nothing at all..

Is there a fuel pump cutoff kill switch somewhere that got tripped? Or a Positive Air Shutoff flapper coming off from the air intake that got tripped? Quick easy things to look at before delving into more invasive and expensive “fixes” first.
