Help organizing my bathroom top cabinet

We have 2018 Georgetown 31L5. The cabinet above the bathroom sink is quite large and deep. It has one shelf in it. Can anyone share how they have organized theirs? I want to maximize the space. Any ideas are appreciated!

How deep is the shelf that’s in there? If it’s 12” or more you could add a white wire rack upside down so you have a lip on it. Do you have a pic of it?

We will probably do this in our other cabinets to maximize the space.

Organizing is really depending on one need. What I meant was depending on what do you want to store. That said, for me, I have a large overhead storage right above my third seat by the entryway, and here what I did.

1 - When to home depot and bought some shelf adjustable track with clip, cut it into 4 strips and screw it into the inside wall of the cabinet.
2 - Cut the thin plywood board to the size of the opening using as the shelf.
3 - Since I do a lot a photography work and have many camera accessories, I went to Walmart, bought some stackable plastic box with lid, different size to store misc. kinds of stuff such as 1 box for batteries, one box for battery charger, one box for the external hard drive, one box for USB cables, etc...

With that idea, you can be very creative depending on your needs and the size of your cabinet.

Have fun!

I am starting the process to organize our TT for our Grand Adventure. I have issues in the pantry with things like oils falling over and leaking. I will be redoing the bathroom as well. One of the things I have tried and did not work is the toothbrush holders that work with suction. Save your money on that one. I will be looking for one that can be used with double back tape or command strips (they will be your best friend). I am just not at that point yet of mods and organizations. I will be following this and see what people come up with to help you. One thing that I have used that might help is white plastic baskets from Walmart, they come in different sizes and work pretty good.

I just finished posting a reply on the thread "Newbie Tips/Thing to Know," some of which might be relevant here. To summarize, don't stow anything where it can tip over, spill, fall, bump against anything else, of get damaged by being bumped. I've learned the hard way about all of those things.

We use a couple of shallow plastic baskets to store things in. They are easy to lift out when you are looking for those small items.

x2 on the adjustable track. I did that in the kitchen area of our tt. We have a very large cabinet in our bathroom (over the outside kitchen) and my sister bought several wire square baskets that fit the space and she puts her clothes in there. One basket holds tee-shirts, one for shorts/pants, etc. They are easy to take out and you can see what's in each one through the wire. In the front cabinet I put in drawers to hold my clothes. It all depends on what you want to store in each cabinet. good luck - Cinica

mesh bag

What about a mesh hanging bag with pockets. Like this (See Amazone for :Misslo Hanging Mesh Pockets Hold 340oz/1000ml Shampoo Shower Organizer.

Install three hooks across the top. Hang it.

For the bath cabinet I made some dividers out of 1/8 inch plywood and 1/4 inch dowels. It helps that I am a woodworker. For other areas we use square plastic containers from Dollar Store. They hold bottles upright, contain spills.

Maybe not right on subject,,, but many of us use adjustable curtain rods to keep things from falling into the sink when we open the door !!!
