Am plugged into a 30 amp circuit and have a new converter and new batteries less than 2 months old. Will put test meter on batteries in the morning when I can see but if steps work batteries can't be totally dead. Guessing that a main breaker or power control center/switch is open or bad? Not my area of expertise!!! Any help much appreciated.

OK Bill lets take this systematically.
1. Are you sure your 30amp to 50 amp plug is good?
Sometimes over time it may burn internally and you don't see it but if you look close you should have discoloration of the male pine which become dark dirty color compared to the other. If this checks out ok move on to #2
2. If you still have no 110Volt AC I would open the transfer switch that may have gone bad and not doing anything. This would be my next test with a volt meter to see if you have power from campground coming in and going out to the coach electrical circuit breaker panel. You just may have a bad coil that is burnt out which you need for it to close the contacts. If you hear it clunk when you plug may show its ok but I would still test with a meter.
If all is good here I would now move on to #3
3. If you have power in #1, #2 then I would move inside to the 110volt circuit breaker panel and see if power is reaching there. I f it isn't then you will need to test the cable from the transfer switch to the 110 circuit breaker panel.
All other things are linked to your main 110 volt power.
Battery charger, lights etc.
FYI if you have dead coach batteries, have the battery disconnect switch off the steps will still work because it has the V10 engine battery that supplies power there also.
I feel 99% sure you will find the problem in #1,#2 or #3.
Let me know your findings and we will move on..
Please be as detailed as possible on your findings which helps me a bunch figure out stuff like this.
Like why new batteries and convertor? Were they bad?
Who installed them?
Good luck on your testing but be carful working near your power.
If you don't feel comfortable doing these test get some one who has electrical skills
Good luck.
